Fanduel NBA DFS 11/27/18

Interesting five-game slate tonight, which will put a premium on high floor players. With only four $10000+ players there should be some interesting lineup constructions. We'll look into each position and try to find some value.

PG

None of these point guards really entices me. I like the matchup Murray has with an O/U trending up 7.5 points since it opened, but it's a high price point. Conley and Lowry seem like a wash in a low O/U game. Only 26 minutes projected for Young which is disappointing for the highest O/U in the slate.

Mike Conley ($8800) vs. TOR - 34 min - 208 O/U - 101.25 Tm pts
Kyle Lowry ($7900) @MEM - 33 min - 208 O/U - 106.75 Tm pts
Jamal Murray ($7300) vs. LAL - 37 min - 218.5 O/U - 111 Tm pts
Trae Young ($7000) @ MIA - 26 min - 224 O/U - 108.25 Tm pts

Value Plays

Reggie Jackson ($5800) vs. NY - 31 min - 219.5 O/U - 113.5 Tm pts
Darren Collison ($4900) @PHO - 26 min - 216.5 O/U - 109.5 Tm pts
Cory Joseph ($4800) @PHO - 28 min - 216.5 O/U - 109.5 Tm pts
Shelvin Mack ($3700) vs. TOR - 20 min - 208 O/U - 101.25 Tm pts

I guess you could also add Emmanuel Mudiay ($5700) and Trey Burke ($6100) into the mix with a high implied total. They are also volatile and could provide a clunker but will get some exposure. Any guard against Phoenix feels like a good play and the 31 minutes for Jackson in a matchup where they are favored by 7.5 could be a good play as well. Mack is more of a roster construction play where he's probably going to be the drop, but can be hopeful for a 6x performance on a good night.

SG

Super thin SG night with only Devin Booker and Tim Hardaway worth more than $7000+. I'm expecting high ownership for all three Miami SGs.

Devin Booker ($8500) vs. IND - 36 min - 216.5 O/U - 107 Tm pts
Tim Hardaway ($7000) @DET - 37 min - 219.5 O/U - 106 Tm pts

Value Plays

Dwayne Wade ($5500) vs. ATL - 27 min - 224 O/U - 115.75 Tm pts
Rodney McGruder ($4900) vs. ATL - 34 min - 224 O/U - 115.75 Tm pts
Wayne Ellington ($4700) vs. ATL - 29 min - 224 O/U - 115.75 Tm pts
Monte Morris ($4500) vs. LAL - 23 min - 218.5 O/U - 111 Tm pts
Allonzo Trier ($3700) @DET - 25 min - 219.5 O/U - 106 Tm pts
Garrett Temple ($4200) vs. TOR - 34 min - 208 O/U - 101.25 Tm pts

The Miami guys are intriguing. Wade turned the clock back with a 50 point performance, but that seems unlikely versus Atlanta. Wade will pick his spots to turn it on. McGruder is the most likely for a 5x performance given the minutes he'll receive. Ellington is probably more of a roster flexibility move for me. Morris is interesting as his price point is down to a level that may force his way into a bunch of my lineups. I love Trier given his chance to go 7x and/or be the drop helping in lineup construction. Temple seems like he's the best bet for 4x, but the implied total and usage of Gasol and Conley seems unlikely for a 6x performance.

SF

I'm expecting high ownership on Josh Richardson and a general level of ownership on both LeBron and Kawhi. Feels like Kawhi is the best value here. LeBron could decide to go off versus a playoff contender (so have some exposure), but Richardson hasn't reached 5x with this price point in 11 games.

LeBron James ($11200) @DEN - 37 min - 218.5 O/U - 107.5 Tm pts
Kawhi Leonard ($10000) @MEM - 33 min - 208 O/U - 106.75 Tm pts
Josh Richardson ($7900) vs. ATL - 34 min - 224 O/U - 115.75 Tm pts

Value Plays

Juancho Hernangomez ($5500) vs. LAL - 33 min - 218.5 O/U - 109.5 Tm pts
Mikal Bridges ($4200) vs IND - 30 min - 216.5 O/U - 107 Tm pts
Trevor Ariza ($4800) vs. IND - 36 min - 216.5 O/U - 107 Tm pts
Bojan Bogdanovic ($5500) @PHO - 32 min - 216.5 O/U - 109.5 Tm pts

There could also be some run from Stanley Johnson ($4200) who put up more than 40 points last time he played the Hawks. I'm really on Bojan for tonight with his consistent minutes and usage since Oladipo has been out.

PF

With one elite player here (Griffin) there's lots of mid-tier guys that don't really excite me. Maybe Brandon Ingram or Paul Millsap show up with 40 point performances or thrown in a clunker with 20 points. Hard to get a sense with the matchup who to favor. Vonleh is finally at a legitimate price point after being a must play last week. He's still a strong 5x candidate against Griffin who doesn't seem to stop much of anything on defense.

Blake Griffin ($9800) vs. NY - 37 min - 219.5 O/U - 113.5 Tm pts
Domantas Sabonis ($7000) @PHO - 25 min - 216.5 O/U - 109.5 Tm pts
Paul Millsap ($6400) vs. LAL - 27 min - 218.5 O/U - 111 Tm pts
Brandon Ingram ($6300) @DEN - 35 min - 218.5 O/U - 107.5 Tm pts
Noah Vonleh ($6700) @DET - 33 min - 219.5 O/U - 106 Tm pts

Value Plays

James Johnson ($4500) vs. ATL - 23 min - 224 O/U - 115.75 Tm pts
Trey Lyles ($3800) vs. LAL - 19 min - 218.5 O/U - 111 Tm pts
Thaddeus Young ($4800) @PHO - 26 min - 209.5 O/U - 109.5 Tm pts
Richard Holmes ($4300) vs. IND - 16 min - 216.5 O/U - 107 Tm pts

Johnson seems like an easy start against the Hawks with his skill set. You could also gamble with Kelly Olynyk ($3800) if you think he's going to get some run tonight. The projections are more on Josh Jackson ($3600) than Holmes, but Holmes has been a beast in limited minutes as of late.

C

Center has the most high dollar plays tonight with six players at $7300+. Jokic seems under priced given the matchup, but has thrown in a couple of clunkers the past five games. I expect Drummond and Whiteside to have high ownership on this slate. Gasol has been smoking leading to the $10000 price tag, but the low implied total will scare me off with little exposure.

Andre Drummond ($10600) vs. NY - 36 min - 219.5 O/U - 113.5 Tm pts
Nikola Jokic ($9000) vs. LAL - 30 min - 218.5 O/U - 111 Tm pts
Enes Kanter ($7600) @DET - 34 min - 219.5 O/U - 106 Tm pts
Hassan Whiteside ($8500) vs. ATL - 27 min - 224 O/U - 115.75 Tm pts
Deandre Ayton ($7300) vs. IND - 32 min - 216.5 O/U - 107 Tm pts
Marc Gasol ($10000) vs. TOR - 36 min - 208 O/U - 101.25 Tm pts

Value Plays

Dwayne Dedmon ($4800) @MIA - 23 min - 224 O/U - 108.25 Tm pts
Alex Len ($3800 )@MIA - 17 min - 224 O/U - 108.25 Tm pts

Few value plays at center, but with the highest implied total on the slate it just feels like either Dedmon or Len will get some good run. Especially Dedmon as he drags Whiteside to the perimeter. You might also consider JaVale McGee ($6500), but it feels like 5x is about the best you can do there based on the minutes he's playing.

Good luck in tonight's slate!
